Progress Gateway is proud to be delivering the International Foundation Year (IFY), a globally recognised pre-university program designed to bridge the gap between school and university, preparing students for direct entry into the first year of an undergraduate degree at leading universities worldwide.
The International Foundation Year Diploma builds subject knowledge, academic study skills, and English language competency to the level universities expect. Independently benchmarked by Ecctis as comparable to GCE A Level (UK), Advanced Placement (US), Australian SSCE, and Hong Kong HKDSE standards, the IFY is a qualification trusted by universities across the globe.
Program Structure

- Students study an English language module alongside three subject modules aligned to their intended degree pathway.
- Choose from 18 subject modules, including Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Global Studies, to build the combination that matches your target degree.
- Clear pathways into Business & Management, Engineering & Technology, Science & Health Sciences, Computing, Law, and Humanities degrees.
- The standard program runs one academic year, with accelerated and part-time options also available.
- Complete your foundation year in Pakistan with internationally moderated assessment, then transition seamlessly to first-year study abroad.
